India's FMCG Giants Soar 13.9% as Rural Demand, Quick-Commerce Drive Recovery
India's top seven Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies have collectively reported a robust turnover of ₹43,779 crore, marking a significant 13.9% year-on-year increase, according to the latest available data. This impressive growth signals a broad-based demand recovery across the sector, primarily fueled by strengthening rural consumption, the rising appeal of premium products, and the transformative impact of quick-commerce platforms. While sales are surging, the EBITDA margin for these giants has remained flat, indicating companies are navigating persistent cost pressures despite increased revenue.
